22237215I enjoyed the writer’s style of short stories, as the endings were all kind of left to your imagination/interpretation. My favourite part about this book was that there were 2 specific characters that she followed throughout the book, and had 3 separate short stories of them at different stages in their life together. It was interesting to see where they would pick back up. My next favourite short story was “That Dance You Do”. I laughed a lot and could relate on so many levels, having young kids of my own.

This book is about Jane, who is a picker/packrat, as well as a detective. she heads back to her hometown when bones are found on a family farm. When the police arrest Jane’s old friend for murder, she knows she needs to find out who really did it. I liked this book because it was pretty lighthearted and I liked how the author tied together Jane’s picking skills with her detective skills. Happy Reading!
